Studio Story
Listed on 2022, 2023 and 2024 AD100 Paradowski Studio is a design office run by Zuza and Piotr Paradowski and their team of architects and designers who look for sources of inspiration at the intersection of art, contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. In Studio search for inspiration and a truly singular style, they like to blend elements from different periods in the history of architecture and design. P.S. shuns the shortcuts and refrains from ready-made, cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, draws on classic, sometimes forgotten elements of design and manufacturing methods. Studio takes utmost care to respect the “particular” in their designs, right down to the tiniest details of the projects, thus bestowing on each a unique and very personal character. P.S. portfolio covers a wide range of works from intimate private interiors, through design for the needs of gastronomy and trade, to hotel interior designs. Thanks to a comprehensive approach to the design process and rigorous attention to the smallest details, interiors by P.S. are characterised by an individual character expressed in carefully selected lighting and textiles, a variety of colours, forms and textures that together create a unique atmosphere. All that make up for P.S. own design language.

Zuza Paradowska
Studied design in University of Arts in London and in the renowned Fashion Department of Royal Academy of Art in Antwerp. The education has influenced how important role in her work plays research, craftsmanship and innovative design language.
Her first professional experience Zuza gained working for Raf Simons and Alexander McQueen. She then focused on working as an assistant alongside stylists Katie Grand and Panos Yiapanis, participating in consulting creative strategies and fashion shows for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Givenchy and Rick Owens. At the time she collaborated with magazines including British Vogue, Love Magazine, Dazed&Confused or Another Magazine. After returning to Poland she co-founded Paradowski Studio and more recently DOM initiative.
Piotr Paradowski
Enrolled in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Krakow University of Technology. His university years also marked the beginning of his fascination with travel to increasingly far-flung places. He spent six months in India, where he worked as a volunteer in a Tibet monument preservation foundation, where he had the chance to prepare plans, familiarise himself with the details and style of local architecture, as well as learn the intricacies of traditional carpentry.
This valuable “apprenticeship” was then followed by a two-year sojourn in Hong Kong, where he worked on projects in collaboration with architectural and multidisciplinary design offices, including General Store and Lunan International, which gave him the chance to co-design the interiors of apartments and. boutique shops scattered across South-East Asia.
After Asia came Paris, where he became an assistant to Philip Grephier, designing mansions in upmarket and exclusive locations all over France: Place Vendome in Paris, Saint Tropez, Bretagne, and the French Alps. After returning to Poland he co-founded Paradowski Studio.
