BABA BISTRO

“The small restaurant consists of two rooms – coherent, but with a slightly different character. The first room is dominated by a strong, brutalist bar topped with meandering shelves. We were inspired by one of the works of our beloved Polish artist Maria Jarema, titled “Rytm VII” – says Zuza Paradowska.
Next to the bar, the second strong element, distinguished by its intense colour, is a green cabinet, the massive form of which the designers placed in the passage between the two rooms of the bistro. This shade of green seems very sharp at first, but studio chose it after scanning the colours of June plants with a colour reader.
Steel wall lamps, chandeliers with ceramic lampshades with a plant shape resembling cabbage leaves, decorative radiator structures and doors placed inside the restaurant were created by Paradowski Studio. Additionally, carefully selected accessories and tableware ordered from a Polish manufacturer makes BABA’s interior inviting to delve into its space and allows for its continuous and rediscovery by guests.”
